New: Yvette Kosmann-Schwarzbach Lecture at the 2026 Poisson Conference in Louvain (Leuven), Belgium

In April 2026, Professor Yvette Kosmann-Schwarzbach will celebrate her 85th birthday. In recognition of her outstanding contributions and enduring legacy in Poisson geometry and related fields, the Organizing and Scientific Committee of Poisson 2026 has decided to honour her with a special distinguished lecture: the Yvette Kosmann-Schwarzbach Lecture. We are delighted to announce that the Yvette Kosmann-Schwarzbach Lecture at Poisson 2026 will be delivered by Professor Jiang-Hua Lu (The University of Hong Kong), whose pioneering work and profound influence in the field make her a truly fitting choice for this distinction. The lecture will take place in Leuven during the Poisson 2026 conference, and will be followed by a reception.
